It is recommended that you set the Starfish Application Pool user to use the "Local System" account. This will give the OLEDB provider the necessary permissions to perform connection related system/registry updates.

To connect to Infor CRM, formerly SalesLogix, with the OLE DB Connector in Starfish, select the OLE DB Connector and click Build Connection... Select the SLXOLEDB Provider and fill in the other necessary information including Password, User ID, Initial Catalog, Data Source, etc.
